Hands

What are hands for? Holding, sculpting, twisting, turning, covering, or covering up.

So many uses for hands.

Holding- to protect, either oneself or someone close to you... or- to keep in bondage.

As I sat in a rocking chair on my weekend retreat, I looked out at God's handiwork. The hands of God sculpted the universe, His hands created this colorful universe in six days. All things created in harmony, by God's hands.

Humanity-- God's hands created humanity from the dust of the ground; humanity in all its ethnicities. Male and female created He them.

God gave the woman to the man-- to protect, to hold, to caress. Sin created the pimp, the playa, who takes from instead of giving to--with his hands. The one who slaps instead of caresses, with his hands.

Hands used as a tool of cruelty--NOT part of God's plan.

When God created woman, he took her from the rib of man. The man looked at her and said, whoa this is one fine mama. They loved, they made love and enjoyed wedded bliss, until sin entered the camp, and then things went amiss!

Eve listened to the serpent. She was tempted with the eye and sinned with--you guessed it, with her hands. Life went down hill, ever since... Adam blamed God for giving him the woman! The same woman he held just yesterday--with his hands.

They procreated two boys, the love of their life until one killed the other---with his hands. Hands for holding, hands for living, hands for loving, hands for killing.

The strong protect the weak. The strong kill the weak. What starts in the mind is done with the hands. What do you use your hands for, young man, young woman. The creative energy in your hands, to create a computer program, or a virus; to write a story; to create life--or death.

It is said that death and life is in the power of the tongue Death and life is also acted out in the hands. So ladies it is not only what he says but what he does--with his hands. Loving hands are gentle. They don't bruise. Loving hands are firm, and hold secure.. Loving hands protect, So ladies, what do you want? If he loves you and slaps you, it's a lie!

They say it's a thin line between love and hate, and that's no lie, but a man is only a real man when he loves you with--his--hands.
